How does it work?
Fat reduction: ONDA CoolwavesTM energy bypasses the upper layers of the skin and deeply penetrates subdermal fat layers. 50°C-53°C temperatures are reached in the subdermal fat layer contributing to melting fat in the proper physiological way.
The thermal energy disrupts the membranes of the subcutaneous fat cells through a mechanism called “blebbing”. Resulting in fat cell death. The fat cells are then naturally eliminated from the body through your lymphatic system.
Cellulite: ONDA CoolwavesTM energy effectively targets the hardened connective tissue (septa) between the dermal and subdermal layers of the skin.
The connective tissue (septa) are then solubilised through the thermal action, which regenerates and stimulates more elastic, softer collagen fibres. This allows for the fat and fluid trapped to break down and move through as it should naturally. Reducing the orange peel effect that cellulite causes.
These results are almost immediate and as a result ONDA is now considered the most effective device to fight cellulite.
Skin laxity: The heat produced by ONDA CoolwavesTM energy causes collagen fibres to shrink in the dermis as well as solubilisation of deeper collagen fibres causing the remodelling of newer and more elastic younger collagen fibres. By these to actions working together it then results in tightening of the skin.
How many treatments will I need and when will I see results?
This is obviously what everyone wants to know so we have simplified and explained it for you. But before we continue we need you to understand and take into consideration that the death of the fat cell starts 14 days after your 1st treatment.
Most clients will need a minimum of 3-4 treatments per zone (some areas may need more), keep in mind that an area eg tummy can consist of 2 zones. Don’t worry though this is all explained thoroughly in your initial consultation.
When will you start to see your results?
- Fat reduction… 45-60 days post treatment, so you will notice your first treatments results between the 2nd or 3rd treatment
- Cellulite reduction… You will start to see a change within 30-45 days after your first treatment
- Skin tightening… collagen production starts 30-40 days from first treatment, meaning results are seen between 3rd or 4th treatment.
The exciting part is, your results will then keep getting better and better each treatment you have, you will continue to see results after your series of treatments is finished.
To help maintain and assist in lasting results we highly recommend you maintain a healthy balanced lifestyle and diet, walking regularly, drinking a minimum of 2 litres of water daily.
